I AM A DUAL CITIZEN. IF MY AUSTRALIAN PASSPORT EXPIRES, CAN I TRAVEL TO AUSTRALIA ON MY 'OTHER' PASSPORT?
If you are a dual citizen, and hold an Australian passport and a passport of another country, you cannot use the other passport to travel to and from Australia. Anyone travelling on a document other than an Australian or New Zealand passport is required to have a visa or electronic travel authority to travel to Australia. If you are an Australian citizen, you are not eligible for a visa or electronic travel authority on your other country's passport.
If travelling between the countries of your citizenship, you should travel with both documents, using your Australian passport to enter and depart Australia and your other passport to enter or depart from your other country of citizenship.
