Resident Return Visa
An undamaged, current Resident Return Visa remains valid for return travel to Australia even if you have had your passport renewed whilst in the Netherlands. You will need to present both passports to both the airline and upon entry into Australia.
If the Resident Return Visa label in your old passport has been damaged (or perforated upon renewal of your passport), your passport has been lost or stolen or your Resident Return Visa has expired, you will need to lodge an application with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship at the Australian Embassy in Berlin to have a new visa placed in your passport.
The Australian Embassy in The Hague cannot issue Resident Return Visas.
